    No, due to several factors; Cyprus has sunshine for 340 days of the year and we are an environmentally friendly resort. Heating the pools would need an immense amount of energy to heat the 1.1 million litres of water contained within just the west side pool.

    Every Wednesday in the summer, in the centre of Pissouri Village, one of the local taverns, has live music, performed by our very own Loris & Panikos. For a traditional Cyprus coffee, mahalepi and rizogalo, then the Community coffee shop in the square of the village is the place to go to.


What should guests know about your immediate neighborhood?

    We are 15 minutes away from the ancient kingdom of Kourion, in Episkopi, which includes the Sanctuary of Apollo, the gladiator’s arena, mosaics and Amphitheatre. And 10 minutes drive from Aphrodite’s Rock. The old road, used for either direction, is used a lot by cyclists, who take in the stunning sea views. Further west you will also find Aphrodite’s Temple. We have a lot of vineyards in the local surrounding area and towards the nearby village of Avdimou. Anoyira village is another village close to our Resort, which has an olive museum and a carob museum

    Cape Aspro has a lot of hiking trails. The view is spectacular! If you follow the Resort road, going passed our entrance, you will find a path that leads around the mountain; here you will find 2 small beaches and sea caves. On the opposite side, before reaching Pissouri Bay, at Melanda beach, the mountain here has a few paths that lead to Avdimou Village. There are trails all across the village some of the them leading all the way towards Paphos, near Aphrodite’s rock.


Where can they buy locally made items they won’t find anywhere else?

    Pissouri village has a souvenir shop with nice, unique pieces and at the Hani restaurant, which dates back to 1950, when it was a wayfarer’s inn, you can find a rich variety of Cyprus local products like halloumi cheese, raisins, olive oil, carob syrup and Cyprus delights.
