On behalf of all of us at Columbia Beach Resort, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this unprecedented situation that we’re all facing, as a result of Covid-19, has caused and wanted to provide you with an update on what this means for any bookings you may have with us.

Yesterday, 15th March 2020, the President of the Republic of Cyprus announced that all hotels must close by this Friday 20th March 2020 until 26th June 2020. Therefore, with our main priority being the safety and wellbeing of our guests, partners and staff, we will be closing our doors on Friday.

This being said, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide every guest, partner and employee with the highest standard of service and care. We are committed to providing you with travel planning flexibility as this situation changes.

Rest assured that we will continue to closely monitor the evolving nature of this situation, receive up-to-the-minute advice, and do everything possible to support our guests, partners, and team throughout this period.

Below is an update on what we are doing, keeping your safety at the forefront of our minds.

We are waiving all cancellation fees and refunding prepaid deposits for stays through until 9th June 2020 and will re-evaluate at that time, should we need to remain closed passed this date.

You should have confidence when you book a future stay at our Resort that we are doing everything we can to have accommodations ready for you.

We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health agencies for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials.

We are reinforcing these agencies' recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures with our own hotel management team.

We recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities.

Our Resort's health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest suite and common area cleaning procedures.
