Get Happy: Five Ways to Health & Happiness this October
Every October, the world unites to campaign for the education of people everywhere regarding the importance of early screening and detection of breast cancer.
Indeed, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity for one and all to focus on their overall health, as medical professionals espouse the belief that a little can go a long way in maintaining and nurturing one’s well-being.
Inspired, we’re counting down our top five ways to feel happy and healthy this October.
1) Walk it off!
A regular, brisk walk is lauded as working wonders in helping to maintain a healthy weight, to prevent and manage conditions such as high blood pressure, to strengthen your bones and muscles, and – crucially – to improve your mood. Why not take a walk along Pissouri Bay after breakfast? Let your toes sink into the warm sand, and bask in the soft, morning sunlight: a mood booster if ever there was one!
2) When in Rome…
The Mediterranean diet is revered worldwide for its healthy properties.
